Baby Aerabella

Since the jump to full time Office Manager & Photographer at Downtown Photo, my personal photography has taken a bit of a back seat. I've been so busy growing and learning from David that, unfortunately, I haven't had much opportunity to apply it to my own work. I felt myself starting to become complaisant with what was happening and, as you know, that is a slippery slope.

Well the universe knew better! How perfectly timed was my big purchase of a new D600 with my friend Rosie's need for baby photos. Not only did it give me a chance to spend time with Little Miss Aerabella but it gave me the jolt of clarity I needed. I realize now that I need to spend just as much time on my own work... my own clients... my own business as I do my 9-5er (which is quickly becoming a 9-9er). Take this with a grain of salt but I'm hoping that this new found focus will also result in more blog posting.

For now I'm just elated to have such a quality piece of hardware and am in LOVE with the images that it's producing. Can't wait to get more squishy baby faces in front of my lens.
