Sewing and Knitting and Stitching, Oh My!

Today I shut down Photoshop and headed out into the real world… err… the craft world! I scooped up my friend Amanda and trucked it all the way down to the Cinema Paradiso for “Bohemian Craftsody”, another installment of the Indie Craft Bazaar. I’ve been out of the crafting loop for a while so it was nice to attend an event that’s a sure fire good time.

Although table after table of goodies tempted me, there was only a select few that I couldn’t say no to (and my wallet is thankful).

I am in LOVE with this afghan (courtesy of Fabulous Finds and Designs). Although I initially purchased it as a potential future photo prop, I’m not sure it will make it off my bed. That said, I could just imagine an adorable baby bum laid out on my granny afghan. I think just the right client can appreciate a piece like this.

Headbands and me don’t get along! But hair clips… now you’re speaking my language. My recent switch to an almost exclusive all blue wardrobe will go great with these fabric covered button hair clips (by Up Owl Night).

Okay okay, this was a freebie in the swag bag… but how adorable is my little wooden button. This heart is my new good luck charm. Apparently at some point on the car ride home, the strap on my Savannah Sundress broke! As I’m scrambling to find something to fix it with, I remembered this little guy in my swag bag. This lovely little pin was the perfect fastener and an adorable accessory. Unfortunately, I have NO idea of made it! If anyone knows, please let me know. I really would like to thank them for the greatest freebie I've ever gotten.

Craft shopping is hard work… obviously. So Amanda and I headed to my favorite burger place, Charm City Burgers. Tater tots, veggie burgers and oh-so-yummy milkshakes! I highly recommend this place.

Yup, an all around great day. Now it’s time to shower and fire up that Photoshop!

Hey, you know Charm City is B'more, right? and that the skyline in the logo includes the Legg Mason building and the National Aquarium? What's up with that?

Oh I've heard of them! Charm City Cakes has been featured on a food network show called "Ace of Cakes" for a few years now. Looks like Deerfield Beach has a little bit of it's own charm.
