You say goodbye, and I say hello!

In the blink of an eye, the month of March came and went. Between 3 Coulson birthdays (including my own), a trip to Tampa, craft fairs, a street painting festival, and a 10 year high school reunion… March was jammed packed with a lot of fun times (and photo opts). I’m happy to report that among all those extracurricular activities, I was able to work with some amazing clients. Weddings, and babies and tutu’s – Oh my!

March started off in a big way with McKoy/Harris wedding tucked in the heart of the Treasure Coast. I used to spend quite a bit of time up in that neck of the woods and it was fun to re-visit the area. The 5 Harris sisters, including bride Christa, were a blast and I’ve never laughed so hard at a wedding before. They were fun to photograph and a pleasure to get to know. I walked away with a church filled with friends and am looking forward to attending little Destiny’s birthday come this fall.

Fast forward a week later to the Skidemore/Taylor wedding, part duex. The lovely young couple was legally married last October but never had a traditional ceremony or reception to mark the occasion. Well their family and friends pulled together and threw the couple a surprise wedding! A few white lies here and there (a few from yours truly) and we were able to get the couple in their wedding ready wear and on their way to the altar. It was an intimate event filled with family, friends and love…. Oh, and a harp player! It was an amazing experience and I feel so very lucky to have played a small part in the day.

Congratulations to both couples and I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Goodbye March and hello, April -- you've got some pretty big shoes to fill!
